Pranjal Ghatak

A budding artist and an extraordinary flautist, currently studying at SRA. With a passion for classical music, Pranjal Ghatak envisions a future dedicated to pursuing his musical dreams. In his own words, he expresses a desire to delve into the world of classical music, both nationally and internationally. At the age of 14, Pranjal showcased his musical skills by securing a prestigious spot through the ITC Sangeet Research Academy scholarship test. Recognised by luminaries such as Pandit Ajay Chakraborty and Pandit Partha Chatterjee, he embarked on his journey in Indian Classical Music under the guidance of Shri Paramananda Roy and other esteemed dignitaries at the ITC Sangeet Research Academy. Pranjal's exceptional talent was further validated when he clinched the 1st Position in the inter-state instrumental competition organised by Shyam Steel Industries Ltd. The competition, judged by Pandit Bickram Ghosh, highlighted Pranjal's mastery of the flute and his ability to captivate audiences with his musical talent. His remarkable achievements extend beyond the competition. Pranjal earned a Certification of Appreciation for his outstanding performance during the Bengal Global Business Summit & International Food Festival, organised by IIHM. With his dedication to classical music and an impressive array of accomplishments, Pranjal stands as a rising star in the realm of Indian classical music. His journey, marked by scholarship recognition, competition victories, and commendations for live performances, reflects not only his aspirations but also his commitment to enriching the world with the beauty of classical melodies.
