Kannv Dhandhania

A natural leader, a national level quizzer, debater, MUNer, a prolific writer-director and a budding entrepreneur are only some characteristics that describe Kannv - someone who Barry O'Brien called "a worthy member of the Neil O'Brien quizzing lineage" and Parnab Mukherjee calls "the most furious quizzer he has seen in the past decade." The President of The Fourteenth Odyssey - Kolkata's largest Inter-school fest and Eastern India's First Sustainable school fest, Kannv led the core team that coordinated between 13+ schools, 800+ participants in 23+ events, managing to raise $35000+ in sponsorships all by themselves. An articulate speaker poised with grace and unparalleled content, he is the captain of the School Debate Team and Head Delegate of the MUN Team with several best speakers and best delegate prizes. He was the first student quizmaster of the Inter-House Quiz and the Chairperson of the BHS MUN 2023. A budding entrepreneur, he established a business culture among his peers and made the school business team a force to be reckoned with. Being a cinema enthusiast, he wrote several scripts, directed several plays, and worked with a cumulative cast of 120+ members, creating beautiful works in English, German, Bangla and Hindi. This young man is also committed to philanthropy and promotes initiatives on mental health, COVID-19 awareness and menstrual health. Add all that to his academic record, and you have a visionary in the making.
