Dia Mirza’s ‘Dhak Dhak’ promises an empowering story
The movie also features Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanjana Sanghi

An all girl’s road trip can be one of the best holidays! It can also be an emotional and empowering journey, and Dhak Dhak seems to have all the makings of the latter.
Dia Mirza recently unveiled the poster and release date for her next venture Dhak Dhak. The movie features an awesome foursome cast of Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanjana Sanghi. The Tarun Dudeja directorial has been produced by Taapsee Pannu and revolves around a bike trip from Delhi to Khardung La.
Last year, Mirza shared snapshots from her travels with the crew for the shooting of the movie including a photo of the four leads with a caption saying that they were the “first film crew to to ride from #Delhi to #KhardungLa pass - The World’s Highest Motorable Pass”
Not much has been said about the movie, except what Mirza wrote when sharing the poster: “Four ordinary women come together for an extraordinary journey of emotions, adventures and discovery”. The movie releases on October 13, and we’re looking forward to the ride. Plus, we can’t overlook how badass these powerhouses look on their bikes.
