BCCI has announced India’s travelling squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in West Indies and USA. While cricketainment continues in the form of the IPL, BCCI got to work announcing the 16 member-squad that we hope to bring the T20 World Cup trophy back to its first home. With Rohit Sharma leading the Men in Blue, Hardik Pandya will be India’s vice-captain with Virat Kohli keeping his place in the squad after much debate. Yuzvendra Chahal has made a miraculous return to the Indian side after having his central contract cancelled while KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan failed to make the cut. Yashasvi Jaiswal will be Captain Ro’s opening partner, as Shubman Gill only makes the cut for the 4 reserves. Take a look at the 16 names who have got their tickets for the USA and the other 4 who could be called up at any point. What do you think is the strongest 11 that India can field when they begin their campaign against Ireland on June 5 before taking on archrivals Pakistan on June 9 in New York? Who makes your 11 and who has missed the cut, let us know.
