Ali Fazal shares throwback meeting with acting legend Robert De Niro

Robert De Niro is an inspiration for every actor in the world, bringing a plethora of timeless characters to life, be it Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver, James Conway in Goodfellas or Jake LaMotta in Raging Bull. Our very own Ali Fazal recently shared an emotional throwback memory with the legend on Instagram, recounting how he met De Niro for the first time with the help of Dia Mirza. In the picture, De Niro seems to be autographing a few DVDs for Fazal. The Bollywood actor even admitted to being very shy and socially awkward before his idol. We hope to see the two on the big screen someday!
