Onset Homes has launched its summer collection of soft furnishings titled Flair Of Nature in collaboration with Manovikas Kendra, an educational institution for differently-abled students. This endeavour has been initiated by Onset Homes, an artisanal soft furnishings brand built upon a history of nearly two decades, to celebrate the 50 years of Manovikas Kendra.

The collection featuring soft furnishings for interior spaces, draws inspiration from nature and includes flowers, leaves and birds in numerous shades. Cushions, throws, mats and runners with detailing in mercerised cotton and tweeds set the tone of the aesthetic line. You can shop the collection on their offical website onsethomes.com.

Neha Jhunjhunwala, owner and founder of Onset Homes, said: “My family has been assosciated with Manovikas Kendra for over four decades. My grandfather has been a trustee on the board ever since its inception and he is closely connected with the organisation. While growing up I always saw the immense talents these kids had and to tie up with them for our summer collection seemed like the perfect opportunity to appreciate that talent. The experience left me filled with gratitude and humbled beyond words. Seeing them enjoy the little joys of life by painting a flower or holding the cushion when they saw it for the first time showed me how we are forgetting to enjoy these precious moments. Seeing the kids come such a long way from their first workshop to what they finally gave was such a high for all of us. The entire process just showed that with the correct direction and some patience, every flower blooms.” She added: “It was so beautiful to have these special children hand-draw each element. I realised they did stuff which no artist in my company would be capable of making... those fluid brushstrokes, the mish-mash of colours. Every stroke was so unique and imperfectly perfect. It will always be one of the most special collections for me."
