Strategic planning got a boost when Twitter published its major events calendar for 2019. The guide covers all the events of interest for Twitter’s massive audience and helps steer brands towards the conversation they should be having for success in their marketing efforts.

The guide covers every major event from the irreverent National Puppy Day to the more sombre Earth Day. If you want to know how many people were tweeting about the Grammy Awards, this guide is for you.

Twitter says on its website that the marketing calendar is a must-have for agencies, businesses and brands.

The guide includes occasions from “the obvious to the niche”, as well as the number of expected tweet impressions. The company used internal data resources to figure out which are the most anticipated events in the year in order to compile the guide.

For instance, 838 million tweet impressions were registered on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The US National Sibling Day, on the other hand, garnered around 10 million tweet impressions.

The social network releases monthly event calendars for the benefit of advertisers, who can strategise their marketing campaigns accordingly. There are three version of the calendar this year — one for the US, another for the UK and Ireland and yet another for West Asia.
