We have already seen Amazon’s voice assistant Alexa being bundled with ovens and clocks. Why stop there?! Here are some new devices — showcased this week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas — that are Alexa enabled.
Ecovacs Robotics: The new line of cleaning robots include the Deebot Ozmo 960, an AI-powered floor-cleaning device that recognises household obstacles (cables, shoes, socks and charging docks) so that one doesn’t have to remove them before vacuuming. Also showcased is the Atomobot, a smart autonomous air-purifying robot that features a laser distance sensor and ultra-sonic sensors to create a virtual map of the surroundings.
Human Touch: The company’s Super Novo massage chair is paired with Alexa’s voice recognition. The chair also has a set of meditation programmes that combine with a soothing soundtrack and massage to help users focus on their breathing.
