Little girl’s stay-home appeal wins the hearts of thousands

Netizens widely appreciated the message of the little girl and saluted efforts of law enforcement officials like her father

A nine-year-old girl asking everyone to stay indoors during the 21-day lockdown to help her policeman father who is away from home on duty has tugged at the heartstrings of thousands, including Union sports and youth affairs minister Kiren Rijiju.

Rijju tweeted: “A sweet little girl, daughter of a Policeman in Arunachal Pradesh with an emotional yet powerful message. Let’s appreciate all the Police Personnel and all those who are continuously working in the field for the safety of everyone. #IndiaFightsCornona.”

Netizens widely appreciated the message of the little girl and saluted the efforts of law enforcement officials like her father.

Replying to Rijiju’s post, one of them wrote: “So sweet. So sweet of the little cute baby giving the msg to all. At least for this cute lovely baby please please stay back at home n defeat #CoronaVirus in India. Our beloved PM @narendramodi ji, @AmitShah ji, @KirenRijiju & all the ministers r working day n night for our betterment.”

Another wrote: “Appeal of this sweet little energetic girl must be reflected to the every corner of this country.”

The picture, which has since won the heart of millions, was also re-tweeted by chief minister Pema Khandu.

“Our #LittleCoronaWarriors across Arunachal makes fervent appeal to everyone to #StayHomeStaySafe. Let not the hardwork of our policemen and health workers go waste. @PMOIndia @ArunachalCMO @MoHFW_INDIA,” Khandu tweeted.
