Body of constable recovered from Dohelapara in Assam’s Bongaigaon

A local source said Roy had two wives and maintained them separately

A body of a police constable, identified as Karunakanta Roy, was recovered from Dohelapara under Abhayapuri police station in Assam’s Bongaigaon district.

“Roy was serving as a constable at North Salmara police post and was on unauthorised leave for the past two days,” said a police source.

In Jorhat district, a police constable died in a road accident on Sunday night.
