Ranchi, Feb. 13: In a late-evening reshuffle on Tuesday, Bokaro SP Manvinder Singh Bhatia was shifted to Ranchi as the new Senior Superintendent of Police.

Jamshedpur Rail SP Priya Dube will replace Bhatia, who replaces N.P. Singh, promoted as DIG, Ranchi. Chief minister Madhu Koda has opted for Simdega SP Saket Kumar Singh, as his new security officer. The present incumbent, Hemant Topno, moves to Jamtara as ASP. Meanwhile, Personnel and Raj Bhasha secretary, Santosh Kumar Satpathy, was today given additional charge of Industry following the suspension of K.K. Khandelwal, IAS, at the behest of the election commission.

The government promoted several SPs to the rank of the DIG. Nandu Prasad, SP at PTC, is the new DIG, Palamau. Jamtara SP M.M. Ojha takes over as DIG, Dumka. CID SP Bhageshwar Jha has been promoted in the same department. Koderma SP, Manoj Kumar Mishra, is the new DIG (Human Rights). Special branch SP Prashant Singh moves to JAP as DIG while CID SP Raj Kumar Mallik takes over as DIG (Personnel).

The government also promoted a DIG (Human Rights), Vinod Mani Diwakar, as the IG. IG (Human Rights) Asha Sinha is now IG (Training) while IG (Personnel) H.K. Mishra moves to Dumka as IG.

IG (Budget) M.V. Rao shifts as IG (Home Guards). Vimal Kishore Sinha, DIG ( Railway) is DIG (Budget) while R.L. Prasad is DIG (Special Branch).
