KJo announces the release date of his upcoming production, ‘Bad Newz’

The movie features Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk in the lead

No news is good news they say but boy did Karan Johar recently gave us some exciting news. The filmmaker took to Instagram to share a bundle of posters in a reel to announce his upcoming film, Bad Newz… ironical right? The new project features Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk in the lead, which is a collaboration taking place for the first time. The movie wrapped up shooting last year and was originally titled, Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam. Despite the name change, fans are already buzzing with excitement for the big release on July 19.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, this Dharma Production film seems to be a drama-comedy, judging by the poppy announcement. In the caption, Karan Johar also writes, “Get ready for the most entertaining hungama — a hilarious once in a billion situation awaits…a comedy inspired by true events!!”
