There’s a gangster drama brewing in the heart of ‘Bambai’

Farhan Akhtar just announced the date for the much awaited 10-part OTT series ‘Bambai Meri Jaan’

After much hype, Farhan Akhtar finally revealed the premiere date for Excel Entertainment’s latest project. 

Bambai Meri Jaan, a 10-episode crime-thriller by Prime Video, based on a story by S. Hussain Zaidi will have its global premiere on September 14. Created by Rensil D’Silva and Shujaat Saudagar, the show is set in Mumbai right after India’s Independence and revolves around a man torn between his father’s law enforcement legacy and the pull he feels towards a world for crime. It has all the elements of a great gangster drama, with an ensemble cast that includes Kay Kay Menon, Nivedita Bhattacharya, Avinash Tiwary and Kritika Kamra.

Akhtar announced the show with the caption, ‘Time to crown the new king of Bambai!’ and we’re looking forward to the thrilling action this show promises
