Dev promises an exciting debut as the new Byomkesh

The actor unveiled the trailer for Byomkesh O Durgo Rohosyo

Dev has been the centre of attention ever since he signed on to play detective Byomkesh Bakshi, and the actor has finally given his fans a good look into his portrayal of the iconic sleuth. 

The actor’s production house unveiled the trailer of Byomkesh O Durgo Rohosyo, where Byomkesh, aided by Ajit and Inspector Pandey, uncovers the mysterious death of historian Ishan Chandra Majumder, which leads him to a huge pile of buried treasure and a succession of strange deaths. 

While Dev’s frame may be difficult to place with the iconic character at first, his screen presence helps him look right at home as one of Bengal’s intellectual idols. The clip also backs the characterisation with great production, building enough drama to ensure a high interest at the box office, during its release on August 11.
