With video games getting live-action adaptations, a doll couldn’t be too far away. The trailer for Barbie shows the world’s most popular doll getting a 3D makeover with one of the grandest ensemble casts outside a superhero film. Starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken, the film will also feature Dua Lipa, Emma Mackey, Will Ferrell and Helen Mirren. The trailer is a delightful recreation of the Barbie world, blending reality and fantasy into a mesh. With regards to the plot, the makers have kept it guarded till the film hits theatres on July 21.
