Aparna Sen and Anjan Dutt to star in a Parambrata directorial

Film buffs, are you excited for ‘Ei Raat Tomar Amar’?

Aparna Sen and Anjan Dutt are all set to work together in a Parambrata Chattopadhyay directorial. The project has been titled Ei Raat Tomar Amar. Hoichoi Studios dropped the first look on social media, brewing intrigue among cinephiles about the film. Sen and Dutt were last seen together in Srijit Mukherji’s Ek Je Chhilo Raja in 2018. The name of the upcoming film makes us almost instantly hum the Hemant Kumar classic Deep Jwele Jaai (1959). 

While cine-lovers wait for the duo to create sparks on screen, perhaps it’s time to re-watch evergreen films in which the two acted like Mrinal Sen’s Ek Din Achanak (1989) and Mahaprithibi (1991).
