‘Welcome 3’ is happening, and has a star-studded cast
‘Welcome To The Jungle’ is set to release next year

On the occasion of his 56th birthday, Akshay ‘Khiladi’ Kumar made a film announcement in acapella style, along with co-stars Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Disha Patani and Raveena Tandon. After having received immense love from reviewers and public alike for Welcome, a comedy film released in 2007, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif as the lead pair, the franchise went on to make Welcome 2 with same director Anees Bazmee in 2015.
Welcome To The Jungle (Welcome 3), set to hit the screens on December 20, 2024, promises to be full of surprises with Akshay back in a lead role, and director Ahmed Khan, replacing Anees Bazmee. In one of his recent social media posts, Kumar mentions, ‘Khud ko aur aap sab ko ek birthday gift diya hai aaj. If you like it and say thanks, I’d say Welcome(3)”.
