Mira Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor had a “magical and soulful trip”, as they welcomed the New Year. The Bollywood actor and his better half went on a family vacation to India’s neighbouring country – Bhutan, and shared snapshots from the stay on social media. The couple was accompanied by Shahid’s brother and mother Ishaan Khatter and Neelima Azim, and Mira’s parents Bela Rajput and Vikramaditya Rajput. But the trip was happy for more than one reason — other than having a family holiday with the kids Zain and Misha, the trip also resulted in the group also meeting the royal family of Bhutan.

Mira, whose first post from Bhutan was on December 30 standing in front of a statue of Buddha with Misha, also dropped glimpses of their stay, the naturesape of Bhutan and the rendezvous with the royalties. “So grateful to have met His Majesty The King @kingjigmekhesar and Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen of Bhutan and spent time on many occasions during our stay.. Their warmth, humility and generosity envelopes one into the comfort of chatting and interacting candidly” wrote Mira on Instagram, with photos from meeting the royalties.

If you are planning for a trip to kickstart 2024, Bhutan can be on the cards, what say?
