Bhansali’s heroines penned heartfelt tributes for the director on his b'day

Sonakshi and Richa, who will star in the director’s OTT debut ‘Heeramandi’, shared moving Instagram posts for SLB

Over the years, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has grown from a director into an institution, popularising his own style of cinema. Known to celebrate spectacle and glamour, the director recently turned 61. Two of the leading ladies from his upcoming Netflix debut series, Heeramandi, wished him on Instagram with emotional posts. While Sonakshi Sinha called him the ‘Asli Heera of #HeeraMandi’, Richa Chadha referred to him as her guru, stating that her career was divided into two distinct parts — pre-SLB and post SLB! The man behind classics like Devdas, Black and Ram-Leela, we can’t wait to see what Bhansali has in store for us with Heeramandi this year.
