After undergoing a 14-month rehabilitation period, Rishabh Pant is gearing up for a full-fledged comeback with the Delhi Capitals for the upcoming 2024 IPL season. While Pant’s journey from injury to recovery has been well-documented, questions loomed over his participation in the IPL for the Delhi side and in what capacity. Earlier speculations hinted that Pant might only bat and not keep wickets. However, Pant’s dedication to the sport and his rigorous training to get fit has allowed him to pass BCCI’s fitness tests. BCCI has cleared Pant to take part in the IPL in his full capacity as a wicketkeeper-batsman. This development not only boosts the Delhi Capitals but also raises hopes for his inclusion in the Indian Cricket Team for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup in North America. Pant’s performance will determine his place in the Indian squad and we all hope to see him pick up from where he left. Delhi Capitals announced Pant’s return in style and you need to check out their post for more.
