While the men’s team is yet to lift the IPL title, the Ladies in Red and Gold shone bright in the second season of WPL. As RCB celebrates its first win, the Bengal Tigers, led by Jisshu Sengupta, also delivered similar feelings to their fan base, lifting the Celebrity Cricket League for the first time. The Bengal Tigers’ victory came after 10 years of playing, defeating two-time champions Karnataka Bulldozers in the finals. While both RCB women and the Bengal Tigers played and won their first finals, each side will be looking to replicate their performances in the coming years.
