Anupam Roy and Prashmita Paul begin their new journey

Music composer Anupam Roy tied the knot with Prashmita Paul on March 2 in a private ceremony. The musician couple chose to keep the union low-key, with a court marriage in the presence of a few close friends and family. According to sources, Anupam and Prashmita have known each other for a long time. 

Prashmita Paul is a playback singer and lead vocalist in the band Udaan. She got her big break in 2014 when she sang the song Sajna in the film Bojhena Shey Bojhena. Since then, she has lent her voice to various films like Kontho, Posto and collaborated with Anupam Roy in Kathmandu and Highway. On March 2, the duo posted their first picture together after marriage on Instagram. Anupam captioned it, “নতুন করে”.
