‘Kalki 2898 AD’ features a star-studded lineup of actors
The science fiction film, directed by Nag Ashwin, is set to release on May 9

After eagerly waiting in anticipation, Kalki 2898 AD finally has a release date. Amitabh Bachchan recently took to Instagram to upload the poster of the film, which revealed the movie will be in theatres on May 9. The poster boy? Prabhas, Of course! The actor, plays Lord Vishnu in the film. The name ‘Kalki’ also happens to be the final avatar of Vishnu.
The plot revolves around a story that “ended 6,000 years ago.” It is about a modern-day avatar of Vishnu, who is believed to have descended to Earth to protect the world from evil forces. While this plot does intrigue us, we are even more excited for the action and drama that is to be showcased.
Joining Prabhas on screen are names like Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. This movie, written and directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by C. Aswani Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies, is sure to have a futuristic approach to a mythological-inspired story and we can’t wait for the promos and trailers to get a sneak peek.
