ASICS SportStyle Launched the EX89 as a homage to ASICS’ NBA pedigree bringing together fashion and basketball. This pair of cool sneakers is a revival of a basketball shoe called GEL-EXTREME in 1989. It keeps the design of the iconic original shoes, which was the work of designer Mr. Toshikazu Kayano, who pioneered the creation of coloured basketball shoes. These shoes have a hint of colour and lots of comfort, which you can sport at any event with ease. The colour pop blues and violets play very well against the red and yellows respectively. It also features an evolution of the late ’80s cup sole, designed to meet the functional needs of the basketball court, and the outsole, designed for traction.
