Growing up, reading Enid
Blyton’s The Famous Five meant earning a spot at the coveted cool table
during tiffin time. The series of children’s adventure novels, penned by the
English author, chronicles the escapades of Julian, Dick, Anne, George and
their pet dog, Timmy.
This Christmas, actor
and comedian Prajakta Koli received the ultimate throwback present — a
complete collection of The Famous Five novels. At a glance, we see books
ranging from one to 20, including classics like Five Are Together Again,
Five On A Secret Trail, Five Get Into Trouble, and Five Rush
Away Together. The entire collection induces a nostalgic wave, leaving us
yearning to get our hands on these literary treasures. But then, we might just
have to fast-track our way to becoming BFFs with Prajakta and host a reading
party!
