Fashion designer, venture capitalist, UK’s first lady and the daughter of Infosys co-founder Narayan Murthy, Akshata Murty’s simple yet popping fashion choices caught everyone’s eye during the G20 summit in New Delhi in September.
During her visit with her husband, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, she attended various events with him and solo and each of her fashion picks have stood out for different reasons.
Perhaps one of the most talked about was her pink sari. To wrap up the summit and board their flight back to the UK, Murty sported a pink silk organza number from popular Indian brand Raw Mango. The brand later shared the details of her sari, which has gota-patti work in gold and is of the shade ‘mithai pink’.
Murty completed her minimalist statement look with high, gold heels, a simple bun and gold kundan danglers, as she said goodbye to India.
