Varun Grover’s lyrics, Arijit Singh’s voice bring alive ‘Raat Akeli Thi’

The Katrina Kaif-Vijay Sethupathi-starrer ‘Merry Christmas’ releases today

The buzz couldn’t be higher for Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas, which marks his directorial return six years after Andhadhun. Like its predecessor, Merry Christmas is poised to have a great soundtrack, with the latest release being the soulful Raat Akeli Thi. The song perfectly sets the tone for Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s romantic date. The song also marks a unique collaboration between Varun Grover, Arijit Singh and Pritam. 

Apart from being the National Award-winning lyricist behind Moh Moh Ke Dhaage and the writer of Masaan, Grover is also a notable stand-up comedian, and is bringing his solo show titled Nothing Makes Sense to Kala Mandir on January 27.
