To celebrate Women’s Day with music is empowering, and when you add multiculturalism to the mix, you have a sold-out show! Alliance Francaise du Bengale, in association with the Prabha Khaitan Foundation, has tapped into this specific emotion to host a Women’s Day Concert at Victoria Memorial Hall. The concert will feature a classical music setup, with Diane Mugot on French Bassoon, Helene Richard on the clarinet, and Wen-Ying Lang on piano gracing the audience with their performances. Alliance Francaise du Bengale has been hosting or collaborating on many events featuring classical music for some time now and this upcoming gathering promises to be nothing less than spectacular — celebrating women with classical music under Kolkata’s iconic architectural roof.
