Emami Art, Kolkata, is set to host two distinct exhibitions simultaneously in its two galleries. ‘IMAGINARIUM 3.0’ will unfold in Gallery 1, while ‘The Lost Fragrance of Memory’ will grace Gallery 2. Both exhibits will be on display until year-end, providing ample time for art enthusiasts to explore.

‘The Lost Fragrance of Memory’ marks the debut solo exhibition of Suman Dey, a self-taught artist known for his pioneering work in abstraction. This showcase unveils his latest paintings, offering a window into his imaginative realm — a space where lines, shapes, and colours intertwine with dreams and memories. Throughout the exhibition, Dey’s renowned large-scale canvases will reveal how he has channeled personal experiences and explorations into a distinctive artistic language.

Simultaneously, ‘IMAGINARIUM 3.0’ will feature compelling artwork by 10 emerging artists who have visualised diverse concerns linked to contemporary global contexts. The exhibition showcases a wide spectrum of artistic media by artists including Ushnish Mukhopadhyay, Aritra Majumder, Richa Arya, Ahalya Rajendran, Ali Nakbhi, Deepak Kumar, Saroj Kumar Badatya, Sheshadev Sagria, Sumon Mondal, and Swapna Halder. This event represents the third edition of Emami Art’s All India Open Call Exhibition.
