SawDesi to host next ‘Art-Life Event’ at Jorbangla Art Gallery
A weekend of art and food beckons in Golpark

Following on from its exhibition at Altamira Art Gallery to end 2023, SawDesi, from the house of Art Melange, is ready for its next ‘Art-Life Event’, scheduled for January 13 and 14 at the Jorbangla Art Gallery on Fern Road in Golpark, with My Kolkata as digital partner. Unlike other SawDesi events, this exhibition will involve multiple cuisines to go with the miscellaneous forms of art that characterise SawDesi initiatives. At least seven brands and artists will be displaying their work at the sale and purchase event, between 3pm and 8pm. This includes products related to paintings, apparel, jewellery, accessories and other knick-knacks alongside local as well as foreign delicacies.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on the evening of January 13 and will include participants of various age groups, some of whom have been sponsored by SawDesi to help showcase their work to a wider audience. There is no entry fee for the event, which is also expected to welcome several city-based actors and performers.
