Anubha Fatehpuria’s Kaagaz Ke Gubbare has received widespread acclaim for adapting Ismat Chugtai’s most inspiring works for the stage, and presenting it through performances, dramatised reading, percussion and song. After touring throughout the country, Fatehpuria is bringing the production back home, this time with a twist.
The performance will be the second episode of Heritage X Theatre, a series of Fatehpuria where she uses a heritage structure in the city as the setting for the play. This time, the venue is the 180-year-old Daw Bari in Jorasanko. Its opera style design is expected to accentuate the impact of the production, intertwining art and architecture into one beautiful evening.
The performance is scheduled for March 2, from 6.30pm. You can get your tickets on BookMyShow, or call 9830059978.
