Readers on Mac have forever complained about the Kindle app, from its sluggish UI to the lack of frequent updates.

Amazon has heard all the feedback and released a revamped Kindle reading app for the Mac, renaming the previous version as Kindle Classic. The new version has additional features like infinity scroll, reading ruler, new fonts and themes, full screen view and page turn animations. The app significantly optimises the user experience from its predecessor, and makes reading more immersive and engaging. As the skies thunder, it is the perfect weather to lounge on your balcony with a cuppa and your laptop, and pour through the latest bestseller!
