When in Temi, the scenery is everything! To enjoy a splendid and panoramic view of the property, head over to the viewpoint. There is a resting area on the pathway, in case you need to catch your breath. (Entry fee: Rs. 20)

A few steps from the viewpoint leads to this cosy little eatery run by a local family. Here too, the enchanting mountain scenery continues. Stop by for some light refreshments or some mandatory ‘cha’ shopping. Bonus: The eatery is a regular hangout spot for mountain ‘pawdorables’

Also lined along the road from the viewpoint are a few houses and shops that sell packaged rice noodles, tea and food. For those who wish to engage with the locals and have a friendly chat, the owners of these shops are always ready with anecdotes and stories about the place’s history

Temi Tea Garden is one of the top organic tea producers in the world. There’s no way one should miss out on indulging in a hot cup or two of the refreshing brew from the plantation. Sip away, and then get ready for a downhill ride to explore the rest of the tea garden. Temi Tea Garden is located between the Damthang settlement and the Temi Bazaar, and a quick visit to both places can be on the itinerary too

If you are planning a walk through the plantation, brace yourself for a mini trek! The path is walkable but requires some effort. The unparalleled beauty of the plantation, however, can be a tempting motivation

Temi Tea Garden has quite a few accommodation facilities, although booking your stay in advance is always advisable. The Cherry Resort (the red-roof building in the picture) is one place of stay for tourists, as are the Dak Bungalow, The Temi Bungalow and Eco Adventure Resorts
