Vicky Kaushal touched down in India’s football capital Kolkata, to attend the biggest football derby in the country on August 12.
The Durand Cup is the oldest football competition in Asia. Mohun Bagan Super Giants will take on Emami East Bengal on Saturday at 4.45pm at the Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan (Salt Lake Stadium). The traditional curtain raiser to the Indian football season, the latest edition of the Durand Cup features 24 teams, with the final scheduled for September 3, 2023.
Vicky has a special appearance in the cup’s “high-energy” anthem song that will be played at the stadium during the historic tournament. It has been penned by the legendary Amitabh Bhattacharya, sung by Arijit Singh and the dynamic Rapper Divine, with music composed by Arijit himself.
The Zara Hatke Zara Bachke actor, known for his boyish charm, was seen wearing a hoodie and cap at the Kolkata airport. The actor then checked into JW Marriott Kolkata on the EM Bypass. Welcome to Kolkata, Vicky! How’s the josh?
