They had been in CID custody till they were granted bail on Wednesday. Officials said on Thursday the three — Irfan Ansari, Rajesh Kachhap and Naman Bixal Kongari — have checked into a hotel in central Kolkata.

“The three are planning to file a review petition to reconsider the bail term that restricts them to Kolkata,” said a CID official. “We are keeping a watch on them.”

On Wednesday, the division bench of Justices Joymalya Bagchi and Ananya Bandyopadhyay granted bail to the three for three months with certain conditions.

Among the conditions was that the three MLAs wouldn’t be able to leave the Kolkata municipal area during this period.

The high court also directed the three to hand their passports to the police and appear before the investigating officer once a week.

The accused were also told to furnish a bail bond of Rs 1 lakh each. The case will be heard again on November 10.
