A group of city-based doctors have joined hands to come up with the Asian Institute of Immunology and Rheumatology Centre (AIIR), Eastern India’s first dedicated centre for comprehensive treatment of immunology and rheumatology related ailments. Prof (Dr) Sukumar Mukherjee, Ex-HOD Medicine, Medical College, Kolkata; Dr Somnath Chatterjee, director, Suraksha Diagnostics Pvt Ltd; Dr Parthajit Das, director, AIIR and Dr Arghya Chattopadhyay, director, Academic, AIIR announced this unique initiative on Monday. The institute will be inaugurated in the first week of May, 2024
