Somes Das Gupta of India Power spoke of plans to produce 70 per cent power from green sources. He urged all individuals to share the waste generated at home or in
office with biomethanation plants.

Everyone present, on and off the stage, lit a candle as they took the pledge.

Other officials of local firms who were present included Ambarish Dasgupta of Intueri, Manjit Nayek of STPI, Sanjay Das of Webel, Kamalini Paul of Serra, Gargi Basu Sarkar of ICICI and Jayden Mukherjee SnapE.
