In her speech, the principal highlighted swamiji’s views on karma yoga. The chairman quoted swamiji and spoke about his relevance today. He said, “Swami Vivekananda was the first among spiritual leaders in modern times to speak for the masses and propagated Indian values globally. We must remember that schools play a fundamental role in shaping young minds. It is our responsibility to educate our children about the glory of their motherland, the rich heritage of the nation and the legacy of brave souls. We should reread and celebrate the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda to inspire the youth to achieve greater goals in life.”
