A fire broke out in a BSNL godown in Sector V of Salt Lake area on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a fire official, nobody was injured in the blaze which initially broke out at the open space adjacent to the godown at around 1.40 pm before spreading to the store.

"The fire spread quickly as the godown had inflammable items. It is under control now”, the fireman said.
The cause of the blaze is yet to be ascertained, he added.
