Micropoems, a young organization, provides an amazing perspective for all creative minds to realize their full potential. It strives to provide a platform for people from diverse backgrounds to showcase their diverse creative energies, such as short stories, poetry, singing, filmmaking, recitation,modeling, and acting.
In May 15, 2022, Themicropoems began as a Facebook writing community with a small number of contributors. Over a few months, it provided this platform to over 200 writers. Writers are provided with thought-provoking topics, allowing them to express themselves in short poems. As well as poetry, Themicropoems also offer recitations, stories, filmmaking, modeling, singing, and other creative forms.
The community also thrives to make a mark filmmaking and has successfully released two short films. Apart from short films and poetry, modelling has also been an integral part of the creative in this community. Themicropoems also hires as well as grooms aspiring models, hence paving a way for them to participate in paid brand shoots alongside renowned celebrities.
The organisation’s steady growth rightfully boats of several feathers in its cap in the form of various magazines and anthologies to its credit. Mr. Koustuv Chattopadhyay, honourable founder of Themicropoems conceived and translated this vision into reality. However, the dedicated effort and collective participation of all the members of this family, have been able to take this dream a step ahead over a short span of time.
Themicropoems believes in taking inspiration from each and every possible avenue including celebrated personalities from the respective creative world. The community has recently been graced by two celebrated actors from Bengali film and television industry, Sudipta Banerjee and Solanki Roy. They are one of the most prominent faces of film industry and their presence boosted inspired the aspiring creative family members at Themicropoems. The team did a photoshoot with the celebrated personalities like Sanchari Adhya, Soumyadeep Mukherjee etc. Themicropoems also worked with Photographer like Sayantan Dutta and Designer, Tanmay Biswas, Soumya Nandi, and Rudra Saha. We also Produce three micro flims named ‘Fera’, ‘Oder Choke’ and upcoming ‘Sahitya Somalochok’. Whatever the event is, all of our celebrities are managed by Amal Das from Agency The Capture.
