How excited are you to see Chris Gayle in Rimi Nayak?
I am beyond thrilled! I can’t believe that Chris Gayle is wearing Rimi Nayak India. Being a cricket fan, this is definitely a moment of a lifetime for me.
What did you give Chris Gayle?
We gave Chris Gayle a customised pair of vibrantly printed trousers that we teamed with a short-sleeved shirt from our latest collection titled Botanics. We kept his sense of style in mind while designing the outfit.
It is just suiting his style to a T! What do you think he has in common with the brand?
I think Chris Gayle and Rimi Nayak share a common sensibility of vibrant and bold colours. No one could have carried this look better than him, and I am so glad that he chose to wear our brand.

Chris Gayle’s stylist Aisha (Deshmukh Chaudhari) got in touch with our team and discussed the brief regarding the type of outfit she was looking for. According to her brief, we customised the outfit to fit Chris’s style and preferences.
What do you like about Chris Gayle’s personal style?
I absolutely love his fun and colourful style of dressing. The way he effortlessly carries colours with elan, is simply amazing.
Are you a fan of his batting?
Of course! I believe there will hardly be any cricket lover who isn’t a fan of his incredible batting skills. He is a legend of the sport.
What would you tell him if you meet him?
I would tell him to wear more of my clothes! (Laughs) In all seriousness, I would thank him for wearing Rimi Nayak and for being an inspiration to so many cricketers around the world.
Tell us what else would look great on him.
I think Chris would look amazing in a bomber jacket. Vibrant suits would also suit him perfectly. I can’t wait to see him in more of our designs!
