Salon owner Abhishek Ghosh comes from a family of entrepreneurs who specialise in manufacturing and is very excited about his first venture in the beauty industry. Abhishek said, “It has always been a plan for us to expand and beauty is something that has always inspired us.” When asked who his personal beauty inspiration was, Abhishek said, “Undoubtedly, my mother because she has always taken an interest in self-care services. She would insist on my brother and me accompany her to salons.”
Their services include haircut for men, women and kids, hairstyling, beard trim and styling, hair spa, several hair treatments, body polishing, body and back massage, talon section, skin treatments and more.

t2 caught up with Koushani and Trina for a fun beauty chat. Excerpts.

What sets Prismaa apart from the other salons that you have visited before?
Koushani: When you enter a place, you want to relax, and especially for us privacy is much required. I find Prismaa classy, picture-friendly and I love the colour palette they have chosen.
Trina: I love the ambience but my favourite part about Prismaa would definitely be the nail art station, head massages and their pedicure room. I haven’t seen such a well-equipped pedicure room before.
What is your favourite salon treatment?
Koushani: Everyone who knows me is aware that I am a spa person. Every time I am free, I choose to take a 90-minute spa therapy.
Trina: Head massage, pedicure and hair colouring are my go-to.
What is a treatment that you don’t like getting done?
Koushani: Waxing is something that I don’t feel like doing but I have to get it done.
Trina: I hate getting my nails done since it takes a lot of patience and time.

Which celebrity’s skin care routine would you want?
Koushani: I find Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt’s skin flawless. They mostly attend events with minimalistic makeup and I think that’s spectacular.
Trina: Ritudi (Rituparna Sengupta) and Apadi (Aparajita Auddy) maintain such beautiful skin that I would want their routine. I have always been in awe of Moon Moon Sen’s hair.
What is beauty according to you?
Koushani: I am a big believer in simplicity. If you see me anywhere except at events, I am a no-makeup person. You just have to carry yourself in the world with confidence and lead a healthy life.
Trina: If you feel good about yourself and be confident then it does wonders. Confidence is beauty.
