Treats from Taiwan

A three-day expo, Taiwan Excellence Weekender 2023, started on Friday in the foyer of South City Mall. Presented by Taiwan Excellence, the event showcases 21 ICT and gaming, lifestyle, sports, wellness and fashion brands from the nation which have been selected for their quality and innovation. Guests can also dive into Taiwanese culture and explore stunning landscapes through immersive Virtual Reality experiences.

“The event is happening in Calcutta after a gap of over a decade and this is the grandest edition ever,” said Sing Jheng, director of Taipei World Trade Centre Liaison Office in the city. The event was inaugurated by Hidco MD Debashis Sen on Friday.
