The Year of the Rabbit is well upon us. At Yauatcha, Kolkata, you can now celebrate the new year with a specially curated limited-edition festive special menu. Fragrant, flavorsome and including a melange of ingredients that are believed to bring wealth and good fortune,the menu also features a rabbit motif on the dishes, making it aesthetically pleasing as well.

“This menu has been introduced globally and now, it is available in the city as well. The dishes and their ingredients have been curated keeping in mind the local palate and flavours that are popular among Calcuttans. The menu is a comprehensive one as well, with cocktails and desserts available,” said Tenzing Khuzing,sous chef, Yauatcha, Kolkata.

Treasure Poon Choi: A traditional Cantonese festive dish, it is both refreshing and spicy.Try it if you can handle your spice! Rs 550

Crispy Chicken with Kumquat Jam: Fried chicken chunks with a sweet, fruity jam might sound strange but this dish certainly makes it work. The sweetness from the jam is not overpowering as well. Rs 695

Szechuan Pepper and Raspberry Macaron:These delicious macarons come with raspberry and Szechuan ganache and raspberry gel in an almond shell. The rich filling, complemented by a subtle tang, and just the right amount of sweetness, make these macarons a must-have. Rs100 each
