Siliguri-born Hashtag has extended its reach, now opening its inaugural venue in Chowringhee, Kolkata (take left from Usha Martin building on Shakespeare Sarani). The two-storey pub plus outdoor venue promises a vibrant pub-like dining experience transitioning into a nightclub come evening

As you enter you are greeted by a huge U-shaped bar which has an antique look. A grandfather clock placed at the bar adds to the charm of the place

Set against Kolkata’s architectural wonders like St Paul’s Cathedral and Victoria Memorial, the space boasts a grand 14ft x 35ft glass ceiling that bathes the place with natural light during the day

The second floor of the venue overlooks the first, decked up with plush leather sofas, elegant chandeliers and individual tables for a cosy yet sophisticated setting
