Especially when they are so effortlessly crafted. To help us out, Md Shabaz Alam, the GM and chief bar master of Little Bit Sober, put together three recipes of classy cocktails. Cheers! '

Ingredients

Bourbon whiskey: 60ml

Caramel syrup: 7.5ml

Glass: Old-fashioned

Garnish: Burnt orange

Method

Here’s a bit of a twist to the Old-Fashioned. First, add a block of ice to your glass first and then pour your whiskey in, followed by the caramel syrup. For a bit of garnish, you can add a burnt orange peel. The entire concoction creates a rich and warm base making it a good fit as a festive cocktail.

Ingredients

Bourbon whiskey: 30ml

White rum: 30ml

Orange juice: 60ml

Pineapple juice: 60ml

Masala tea: 45ml

Lime juice: 20ml

Glass: Two sharing glasses

Garnish with star anise and orange

Method

Here’s one for big groups! Serve this Sober Punch, which is far from sober. The punch is a mix of whiskey, white rum, orange juice, pineapple juice, lime juice and… surprise, surprise, masala tea! After giving it a good stir, serve it in a glass filled with ice and garnish with a star anise and orange wedge.

Ingredients

Blue pea-infused gin: 60ml

Jasmine syrup: 15ml

Lime juice: 15ml

Tonic water

Glass: Champagne glass

Garnish with edible flower

Method

Not only does this have a light taste but will also be the life of the party with that colour. The drink is an infusion of blue pea-infused gin, with jasmine syrup and lime juice. After they are mixed, you can top off the champagne glass with tonic water. To make it look pretty and festive you can add an edible flower.
