After five successful years in Kalikapur, Cup eBong “Aamar Priyo Cafe” has moved to South Calcutta in Hindustan Park. The 50-seater cafe with a peaceful and comfortable vibe as well as outdoor and indoor seating aims to provide a vibrant yet relaxed haven with carefully curated dishes, homely environment, inclusivity, soft music and addas to people of all ages.

The entrance of the 1,500sq ft cafe reads their objective — “Come as friends, leave as family”. Spanning from continental dishes to staple Darjeeling platters, Cup eBong will leave you impressed with its range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

The café accommodates a cosy space for smokers too. This breezy corner gives Darjeeling vibes with its Om Mani Padme Hum hangings. One can also play games like Ludo and Jenga under the sky.

The Darjeeling Maharaja Pork Platter has flavours of handcrafted sausages, ham, bacon, dumplings, momos and meatloaf. You can pair it with their specialised Red Sauce and Meat Mayonnaise.

The different coffee items on the menu vary in the way they are brewed and finally served. t2 experienced a refreshing cup of Pourover coffee.

This one-of-a-kind Nolengur Yoghurt will blow your mind with its rightly balanced sweetness and soft texture that melts in your mouth.

Owners Amit and Jaya Halder said, “We wanted to keep the Bangaliaana intact while upgrading to a spacious area. The name Cup eBong means cups of coffee, tea and much more. We have created a pet-friendly place for excellent food which has handpicked ingredients and handcrafted recipes. We always aimed at creating a comfortable retreat for our customers to chill and enjoy our skillful dishes while taking a break from the hectic city life. The goal is to open five new branches over the next five years.
