The Chaat Festival in City Centre New Town was a delicious three-day affair from September 1 to 3, held in association with t2. The festival featured an array of flavours to delight the taste buds craving something chatpata during the monsoon. There were 15 stalls serving chaat, phuchkas, bakery treats, pav bhaji, sweets and more, which made the gastronomic journey a successful one. t2 dropped by to get you a taste of the festival.

Shusmita Paul (left) and Chandrima Sarkar were spotted clicking selfies with their Churmur Puchka from Puchkawala. They said: “We love the Kolkata Special Aloo Puchka and we also ordered the Dahi Vada. Everything from this stall is so tasty and we ask everyone here to try them out.”

“I’m going to try this mishti doi from Nalin Chandra Das & Sons for the very first time and I’m really excited. This is the second time I’m coming here to City Centre New Town and today luckily I happened to see this festival. Really excited to try more new things in this festival,” said Ester from Mizoram.

Bandana Chaat Centre offered their special Samosa Chaat which was a shortcrust pastry filled with veggies and topped with shredded cheese. Rs 70 each
