Distilled with juniper berries, gin is one of the most subtle flavoured liquor. This delicious smooth tipple goes way back to an older drink from the Netherlands known as Jenever. Gin is a Dutch creation and the English made it popular around the world and is made by mashing corn, rye, barley, and wheat. Gin comes in different types with variations of flavours, such as London Dry Gin, Plymouth Gin, Old Tom Gin, New Western Dry Gin and others.

"Gin is a showstopper of all celebrations nowadays. At a weekend brunch, night out or any weekday gathering, gin is standing tall at all ocassions. We are proud that India is producing such fantastic gin at present. My favourite gin on the go is Hapusa (Indian) and Roku (Japan)," said mixologist Indranil Chatterjee, who calls himself a gin enthusiast and is the brand development manager of Parsan Brothers, importers and distributers of alcoholic beverages.
