Someplace Else at The Park was pulsating with infectious energy on International Women’s Day as Disco Inferno rocked the stage with their energetic performance and excellent choice of songs. With Arunima Dasgupta and Tanya Sen as their lead vocalists, the party people could not help but groove and sing along. Nitin Mani on bass, Subhagata Singha on the guitar, Samrat Mukherjee on the keys and Chiradeep Lahiri on the drums made it a night to remember for the audience at the concert. Disco Inferno performed songs such as Cheri Cheri Lady, Sweet Child of Mine, Get DownTonight, Hot Stuff, Hello (Adele), Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Material Girl.
Tanya Sen from Disco Inferno looked beautiful as she sported the mob girl aesthetic with her cheetah print top. She said: “There was no better way to celebrate International Women’s Day than being on stage with Disco Inferno paying tribute to our favourite female artists and their contribution to the world of music. We turned Someplace Else into a disco land with 1970s décor throughout the stage and a giant mirror ball to get everyone in the mood. We also wanted to include some of our favourite male vocalists like Siddhant Sharma, Josh Dasgupta, Neel Adhikari and Dhruv Bhalla to pay their homage to women singers which made it even more interesting, because as a band we believe in promoting gender equality and diversity. Getting back to a houseful SPE felt just like the old times and it felt truly amazing. It was a great night celebrating women.”

Josh Dasgupta, singer, guitarist and Arunima’s son performed a number too. We loved it as the young man sported a faux fur prop!
The crowd cheered as Dhruv Bhalla’s version of Flowers (by Miley Cyrus) and Girls Like You came along!
